    Savor Sarasota

No matter which participating restaurants you decide to visit during Savor Sarasota - the annual two week celebration designed for food lovers - you probably can't go wrong. From June 1-14, over 65 local restaurants will offer three-course lunch menus for $15 and multi-course dinner menus for $29, no coupons or certificates necessary.

That said, some of the restaurants on the list have created Savor menus that are a step above, or offer an especially good value. We picked out some of our favorites among the participating spots, ten of your best options if you don't have time to visit all the restaurants signed on for the event.

But no matter where you decide to eat during these special two weeks, be sure to to take advantage of the offers. It's the best time of the year for restaurant lovers. Savor it.

  • Cafe L'Europe (HT ARCHIVES)
    Cafe L'Europe

One of the great things about Savor Sarasota is that it encourages people to visit some of Sarasota's most iconic restaurants, the kind of places that have been around for a long time for good reason. Places like Cafe L'Europe, where dinner entrees usually average well above the $29 Savor price tag. That means you can enjoy wild mushroom ravioli with blackened shrimp, and essentially get an appetizer like lobster bisque and crepes Suzette for free. The lunch menu is an even better deal. Duval's Fresh Local Seafood

Downtown seafood specialist Duval's is one of the places that will offer a little something extra for Savor. Namely, an extra course at dinner, still just $29. That means you can have soup like vichyssoise or fish chowder, an appetizer, an entree like blackened Gulf fish or grilled filet mignon, then dessert. You can even grab an optional wine pairing for $20. (1435 Main St., Sarasota; 941-312-4001; duvalsfreshlocalseafood.com)

  • Euphemia Haye (HT ARCHIVES)
    Euphemia Haye

Venerable and cozy, for many Euphemia Haye is a special occasion sort of restaurant. Thankfully, Savor Sarasota is a special occasion. Try the restaurant's famous Caesar salad and signature roast duckling, as well as a choice of desserts, all for considerably less than that duck usually costs by itself. (5540 Gulf of Mexico Dr., Longboat Key; 941-383-3633; euphemiahaye.com)

  • Fins at Sharky's (HT ARCHIVES)
    Fins at Sharky's

The more elegant sister restaurant of Venice's Sharky's has a killer view and offers a great array of seafood options on its Savor menu, including items like lobster seafood risotto, red snapper, tuna ceviche and more.

    Harry's Continental Kitchens

Longboat's classic Harry's is also offering four courses for the price of three (or less than three, really). Start with soup, then grab some seared scallop tostadas, the restaurant's excellent shrimp and grits, then dessert. You can even add premium wine pairings for just $10 more. MADE

Savor Sarasota is a great time to enjoy MADE'S fantastic updated comfort food. Instead of a rich soup or elegant salad, grab MADE'S cheesy tots or beet-cured deviled eggs topped with billionaire bacon; meatloaf made with brisket, duck confit, bacon and beef; and strawberry shortcake. (1990 Main St., Sarasota; 941-953-2900; maderestaurant.com)

  • (HT ARCHIVES)
    Mozaic

A perennial Savor favorite, Mozaic offers it's usual precise and eclectic cuisine at greatly reduced cost. Better yet, you'll get three savory courses ranging from three melon gazpacho to blanquette of escargots and mushrooms, zaatar-rubbed free-range pork tenderloin to pan-seared salmon. Desserts are $7 extra, but well worth it: Mozaic makes some of the best fine-dining desserts in town. (1377 Main St., Sarasota; 941-951-6272; mozaicsarasota.com)

Haven't tried out the new-ish restaurant on the Ringling Museum grounds? Savor is a great opportunity, when you can grab edamame hummus and chicken schnitzel or roasted vegetable bisque and trout fillet amandine. (5401 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota; 941-360-7390; ringling.org)
