One of the most gifted vocalists around, Shantel Norman and her group Truality have built a dedicated following with weekly performances at The Blue Rooster's Sunday Gospel Brunch — perhaps you read last week's Ticket cover story — and this Saturday they will put on their first evening gospel concert for the community at their Trinity Christian Fellowship Church. Expect a lively performance teeming with gorgeous vocals and inspired testifying.
Several special guest artists will also be performing including Jah Movement, Norman's popular reggae band. A portion of the proceeds with go to the Exodus Resource Center, a new community-based facility that has been established to provide educational tools, food, clothing and a safe place for foster children, orphans, underprivileged and at-risk youth.
