Fellow local craft beer enthusiasts, don't let the name mislead. In addition to specialty beers from around the world there will also be a bunch of Florida beer served, including samples from local breweries Big Top, Motorworks, Darwin and Fat Point at Saturday's International Beer Festival at Lakewood Ranch Polo Club. As for nosh, there will be small plates from local eateries including lauded downtown Bradenton restaurant Soma Creek Side. And then there's the entertainment. This year’s event features the “Big Top Beer Carnival,” a games area with tricycle races, beer pong, beer bottle ring toss, corn hole, and prizes. Plus, Pitbull Toddler will be performing blues-informed metal originals as well as popular covers with 102.5 The Bone’s Mike Calta Show host (formerly Cowhead) handling bass duties while joined on stage by other members of his popular morning radio show.

3-7 p.m. Saturday; Polo Club, 8201 Polo Club Lane, Lakewood Ranch; $35 (pre-sale), $45 (day of); lakewoodranchbeerfestival.com
