Benefit for Austin Goncalves

Austin Goncalves, a 15-year-old employee at Blue Marlin Grill in Bradenton Beach, contracted ciguatera fish poisoning while on vacation with his family in the Bahamas and needed to be airlifted to Miami to save his life. On Saturday, the Blue Marlin is hosting a benefit to help the Goncalves family pay the $30,000 in medical bills. The fundraiser will feature a boat poker run that begins 10 a.m. at Blue Marlin and includes stops at the Drift-In, the Bridge Tender Inn, Mar Vista and the Swordfish Grill.
