Come Back Alice headlines this month's edition of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall's free concert series Friday Fest. Led by singers and multi-instrumentalists Tony Tyler and Dani Jaye, the Sarasota-based band melds Allman Brothers-informed rock with funk, soul and sizzling fiddle. Bring your blankets or travel chairs for the lawn seating and enjoy the music, sunset, plus food and beverages from local vendors. There will also be raffle prizes at the popular event. Friday Fest takes place rain or shine and simply moves inside of the huge hall if there's nasty weather. Bringing in food and drink from outside the fest is prohibited.
