Support local, original music presented in an intimate setting at Studio Theatre Live, a two-part series held at the Manatee Performing Arts Center that culminates Friday with sets by St. Pete singer-songwriter Geri X and Bradenton alternative folk duo Lady and Gentleman.
Geri X is one Tampa Bay's best known purveyors of local music and has been making regular appearances south of the Skyway lately including her new Thursday residency at Cabana Live. Lady and Gentleman, singer Emily Owen and guitarist/singer Matt Roback, continue to build their following with area performances such as a recent gig at the Pickin' Picnic festival at Bradenton Riverwalk.

Proceeds from this show go towards future events and festivals; and a portion into savings towards the future home of Independent Jones, a dedicated live music venue in downtown.
