For someone who has been a fan of Have Gun, Will Travel from the start — singer-songwriter and Bradenton native Matt Burke debuted the project with a solo EP he recorded himself and gave me a copy resulting in a glowing review/feature story —  it's a bit jarring seeing the Americana band celebrating its 10 year anniversary.

HGWT has fans across the country now and while the core members still live in Bradenton the band will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary by performing their first four albums Friday and Saturday at venues in Ybor City. Yeah, it would be nice to have these shows in the 941 but it's also nice to see how much love HGWT gets from the vastly larger Tampa Bay music scene.
