The free Music in the Park series held in downtown Bradenton along the Manatee River continues Friday with a performance by Goodnight Neverland, an indie pop-rock band from St. Pete whose lead singer Kerry Courtney was featured earlier this year on “American Idol.”

Local craft beer and other beverages and snacks will be available for purchase at Music in the Park. Audience members are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, blankets and chairs as well as their furry family members, on leashes. Also, each event will also showcase dogs from local shelters available for adoption.
