A Sarasota distillery and brewery are teaming up.

JDub's Brewing Co. (1215 Mango Ave.) will work with Drum Circle Distilling (2212 Industrial Blvd.), the maker of Siesta Key Rum, to make drinks using each other's beers and rums, according to an email from JDub's CEO Jeremy Joerger.

Joerger writes that they are still finalizing recipes, but revealed that JDub's first collaborative beer with Drum Circle will be aged in oak barrels that previously held award-winning Siesta Key spiced rum. More details will be released in the coming weeks.

This will be the second craft beer collaboration for Drum Circle Distilling, which has aged a rum in barrels that previously housed beer from Tampa brewery Cigar City.
