Two Florida craft brewers and a lobbyist for a distributors group talked on the radio yesterday about a Senate bill that the brewers say will hurt their business.
Sarasota freelance journalist Cooper Levy-Baker (who writes for Ticketsarasota) guest-hosted "The Nilon Report" on WSRQ. I was honored to join guests Matt Cornelius, director of operations at soon-to-open Darwin Brewing in Bradenton; Mitch Rubin, president of the Florida Beer Wholesalers Association; and Joey Redner, founder of Cigar City Brewing in Tampa.
I was glad that WSRQ was able to have Rubin join the discussion, since distributors have been fairly quiet on this issue that has brewers in an uproar.
