The Royal Southern Brotherhood released a self-titled, debut album in May, group members Mike Zito, Devon Allman, Cyril Neville, Yonrico Scott and Charlie Wooten experienced instant adulation. The album debuted at No. 5 on Billboard’s Blues Albums chart and No. 30 on the Heat seekers Albums chart. Neville is a Grammy Award-winning singer and percussionist of the Neville Brothers fame. Allman is the singer and guitarist for the band Honeytribe.
