Venice Brew Bash beer festival returns on Saturday

/

VBBB II logo 200Saturday marks the return of the Venice Brew Bash to downtown Venice. The event runs from 4-8 p.m. on Miami Avenue.

A $40 ticket gets you unlimited samples of beers from distributor Gold Coast Eagle's portfolio (including Goose Island, Green Flash, Sweetwater and Tampa brewery Florida Avenue). You can save $10 by purchasing your ticket in advance, either online at BrewBash.com or at the following Venice stores:

Brindley's Liquor, Wine and Gourmet Store (421 Tamiami Trail S.)

Burgundy Square Cafe (227 W. Miami Ave.)

Venice MainStreet Inc. (101 W. Venice Ave.)

There will be live music, giveaways and food available for purchase. Proceeds benefit Venice MainStreet, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing downtown Venice.

The festival is like a block party, so all ages are allowed to attend, but you must be 21 to drink alcohol.

I'm honored to be the emcee of the event. I hope to see you there!
