Music lineup for Sarasota County Fair

There's going to be more than just midway rides, games, livestock shows and auctions at the Sarasota County Fair, March 15-24.

There will also be lots of live music.

Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center is overseeing the fair's Crackerland stage this year and has lined up local acts nightly.

Here's the complete schedule:

March 15 — Ober Rivers, 5:15 and 7:15 p.m.

March 16 — David Smash, 3:15pm and 5:15 p.m.

March 17 — Drum Studio Allstars, 3:15, 5:15 and 7:15 p.m.

March 18 — Trapezoid, 5:15 and 7:15 p.m.

March 19 — Myakka, 5:15 and 7:15 p.m.

March 20 — Ship of Fools Unplugged, 5:15 and 7:15 p.m.

March 21 — Steve Arvey, 5:15 and 7:15 p.m.

March 22 — Passerine, 5:15 and 7:15 p.m.

March 23 — Bill Schustik, 3:15 and 5:15 p.m.

March 24 — George Worthmore, 3:15 and 5:15 p.m.

Sponsors for the shows include Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, Blue Rooster, Black Diamond Strings, Fogt's Music, Stockyard Western Wear and Feed, The Shamrock Pub, City Girl Gardens, Coffee Loft and Sampey, Burchett and Knight, Inc.
