City Pizza's Tavern on Siesta has opened at 6643 Midnight Pass Road on Siesta Key. It's run by the same people behind The Blue Owl Tavern on Main on Sarasota's Main Street.
Tavern on Siesta is billing itself as a family friendly establishment having "the largest draft selection on Siesta Key," according to its Facebook page. They say they have 24 taps of craft beer, which would easily make them the go-to beer place on the key.
In related news, on Feb. 13 the tavern will have a beer tasting featuring Tampa's Cigar City Brewing starting at 8 p.m. as part of its official opening. Learn more at the event's Facebook page.
